Life is like
A simple math equation,

A special occasion.

A night of wonder,
Of magical bliss.
The ending of which
Starts out with a kiss.

The taste of your lips,
So sweet on my tongue.
Leaving my body
Practically numb.

But this equation could turn
Into quite an awful foe,
You - Me =
Well, I'd rather not know.

Early morning,
Rise from bed,
Thoughts of you
Fill my head.

Walking down
Crowded streets,
Thoughts of you
Remain with me.

Sitting behind
A wooden desk,

Keep me at rest.

Nighttime falls,
Lights go dead,
Thoughts of you
Put me to bed.

Soul so light,
Guitar and human
One alike.

Beautiful words,
Sounds of beauty,
